Ideal for homeowners, the SH 56 is powered by a reliable 27.2cc STIHL 2-MIX engine, delivering excellent performance whilst reducing fuel consumption and exhaust emissions compared to conventional two-stroke engines. This helps lower running costs while supporting more environmentally conscious operation.
The integrated star-shaped shredding blade, mounted on the fan wheel, reduces the volume of collected material by finely shredding leaves, grass and even hedge trimmings. This helps minimise waste volume and creates material that’s easier to compost or dispose of.
Starting is simple thanks to the manual fuel pump, which primes the fuel system and reduces the number of pulls required to start the engine. A semi-automatic choke system and automatic stop-button reset further improve reliability and help prevent engine flooding.
Lightweight at just 5.4kg, the STIHL SH 56 offers comfortable handling and excellent manoeuvrability for a wide range of garden maintenance tasks.
