The STIHL SHA 56 Cordless Vacuum Shredder & Blower is a practical and user-friendly cordless garden maintenance tool that combines powerful vacuuming, shredding and blowing capabilities in one versatile machine. As the first vacuum shredder in the STIHL AK System range, it offers homeowners a convenient solution for year-round garden tidy-up tasks.

Whether you’re gathering leaves into piles, vacuuming fallen foliage from lawns and borders, or collecting hedge trimmings after pruning, the SHA 56 helps make garden maintenance quicker and more efficient. Its cordless design delivers excellent freedom of movement while operating with low noise levels, making it ideal for residential gardens.

A simple tool-free conversion system allows the machine to switch quickly between blower and vacuum shredder modes. Simply change the tube arrangement and rotate the handle through 180° to achieve a comfortable working position for the selected task.

The SHA 56 features a variable speed trigger, allowing you to adjust the blowing or suction power according to the material being cleared. This helps maximise battery runtime whilst providing additional power when required.

Designed with comfort as a priority, the machine incorporates an ergonomically positioned rotating handle and an adjustable padded shoulder strap. In vacuum mode, the collection bag attaches directly to the vacuum tube rather than hanging across the operator’s shoulder, improving balance and reducing fatigue.

A robust metal shredding blade integrated into the fan wheel reduces the volume of collected material, allowing more leaves and clippings to fit inside the catcher bag before emptying. If a blockage occurs, the shredding chamber is easy to access, allowing quick removal and minimal downtime.

When used with the recommended STIHL AK 20 battery, the SHA 56 delivers a runtime of up to 25 minutes, making it ideal for regular garden maintenance and seasonal clear-up tasks.

Available as a tool only, making it an excellent addition for existing STIHL AK System users.
