The STIHL HTA 66 Cordless Pole Pruner is a lightweight cordless pole pruner designed for professional and domestic tree maintenance. Featuring a 25cm guide bar, 1/4″ PM3 chain, low-vibration and rigid shaft design, it delivers precise pruning performance for orchards, gardens and grounds maintenance applications.
The STIHL HTA 66 Cordless Pole Pruner is a lightweight yet powerful battery-powered pruning tool designed for maintaining trees and shrubs in gardens, orchards and professional landscapes. Part of the STIHL ALLPRO/AP System, it combines excellent cutting performance with low-noise operation, making it ideal for use in residential areas, public spaces and other noise-sensitive environments.
Designed for pruning and branch maintenance at height, the HTA 66 is fitted with a 25cm (10″) guide bar and a 1/4″ PM3 saw chain, delivering smooth, low-vibration cutting performance and exceptionally clean cuts. This makes it particularly effective for pruning ornamental trees, fruit trees and general tree maintenance.
The lightweight power head and excellent machine balance improve manoeuvrability, reducing operator fatigue and allowing greater precision when working overhead. The rigid shaft construction provides excellent control and stability during pruning tasks, helping users achieve accurate cuts with confidence.
For easy maintenance, the HTA 66 features side-mounted chain tensioning, allowing quick and convenient chain adjustments. A captive sprocket cover nut helps prevent loss of parts during routine maintenance.
An integrated branch hook assists with removing cut branches that become caught in the tree canopy, helping improve workflow and efficiency during pruning operations.
With an overall length of 240cm, the HTA 66 provides excellent reach for pruning work without the need for ladders in many situations.
When paired with the recommended STIHL ALLPRO AP 200.0 P battery, the HTA 66 provides a runtime of up to 54 minutes, making it an excellent choice for professional grounds maintenance teams, fruit growers and homeowners managing larger gardens.
