The STIHL TSA 230.1 Cordless Cut-Off Machine is a compact, high-performance battery-powered cutter built for professional users working in construction, landscaping, utilities and groundworks. Part of the STIHL ALLPRO/AP System, it offers outstanding cutting performance combined with low noise, low vibration and emission-free operation.

An evolution of the highly successful TSA 230, the TSA 230.1 features an upgraded 2.1kW power output and increased cutting performance, enabling faster cutting speeds and greater versatility across a wider range of applications.

Fitted with a 230mm (9″) cutting wheel, the TSA 230.1 is ideal for making quick, precise cuts in paving slabs, concrete products, brickwork, kerbstones, steel and pipework. The machine is supplied with a high-performance composite resin cutting wheel as standard, while STIHL’s diamond cutting wheels are recommended for prolonged use and demanding cutting applications.

The lightweight and well-balanced design makes the TSA 230.1 exceptionally easy to handle, improving operator comfort and reducing fatigue during repetitive cutting tasks. Its compact size also allows excellent manoeuvrability in tight spaces and confined work areas.

Powered by a highly efficient brushless EC motor, the cutter delivers smooth, low-vibration operation and consistent performance throughout the battery charge. The low-maintenance motor design helps maximise reliability and service life while reducing downtime.

Thanks to its emission-free operation, the TSA 230.1 is suitable for use both outdoors and inside buildings where petrol-powered machines may not be appropriate.

For improved dust suppression, the machine features an integrated water connection and water-guided magnesium guard, helping maintain visibility of the cutting line while reducing airborne dust. The durable magnesium guard is reinforced with stainless steel for increased longevity in demanding environments.

An integrated spindle lock allows cutting wheels to be changed quickly and easily, reducing downtime between tasks.

When paired with the recommended STIHL ALLPRO AP 200 P battery, the TSA 230.1 delivers a working time of approximately 12 to 19 minutes, depending on the application and cutting load.

Please note that the TSA 230 is only available as a tool only, the battery and charger are sold separately.
