The STIHL MSA 220 C-B Cordless Chainsaw is a high-performance battery-powered chainsaw designed for professional users who require strong cutting performance combined with the benefits of low-noise cordless operation. Part of the STIHL ALLPRO/AP System, the MSA 220 C-B delivers power comparable to the renowned STIHL MS 201 petrol chainsaw, making it an excellent all-round choice for forestry, landscaping, estate maintenance and arboricultural applications.
Fitted with a 14″ (35cm) Light 04 guide bar and 3/8″ P PS3 Pro saw chain, the MSA 220 C-B delivers exceptional cutting performance with up to 20% greater cutting efficiency compared to the MSA 200 C-B. The advanced chain design also improves energy efficiency, allowing up to 10% more cuts per battery charge.
Suitable for a wide range of tasks, the MSA 220 C-B excels at felling small trees up to 25cm in diameter, pruning branches, cutting firewood and processing timber for construction work. Its impressive power output and robust construction make it a versatile professional chainsaw for daily use.
The chainsaw features an ergonomic rear control handle and variable-speed trigger system, giving operators precise control over chain speed for different cutting applications. This improves accuracy when working around shrubs, processing timber or carrying out detailed pruning tasks.
For easy maintenance, the MSA 220 C-B includes STIHL Quick Chain Tensioning, allowing the chain to be adjusted without additional tools. A transparent oil tank provides clear visibility of chain oil levels, while sturdy metal bumper spikes ensure precise guidance and greater control during cuts.
Powered by a high-efficiency brushless motor, the MSA 220 C-B delivers consistent performance while maintaining low vibration and reduced maintenance requirements. Its quiet operation makes it ideal for noise-sensitive environments such as schools, residential areas, hospitals and parks.
When used with the recommended STIHL AP 300 P/PC battery, the MSA 220 C-B provides up to 39 minutes of runtime, making it a dependable solution for demanding professional cutting applications.
