Replacing the legendary STIHL MS 880, the MS 881 sets the benchmark for high-performance forestry chainsaws. Powered by an enormous 121.6cc STIHL 2-MIX engine, it produces an impressive 6.4kW output, making it the ideal choice for harvesting, felling and processing large-diameter trees.
Designed specifically for demanding professional applications, the MS 881 excels in large-scale forestry operations, sawmilling and extreme timber harvesting work. Its immense torque and cutting power allow it to tackle oversized timber efficiently, even under challenging working conditions.
The advanced STIHL 2-MIX engine provides powerful performance while reducing fuel consumption and emissions compared to conventional two-stroke engines, helping the MS 881 comply with stringent EU Stage V emissions regulations.
To maximise reliability in harsh environments, the chainsaw is fitted with a high-performance HD2 air filter system. This advanced filtration technology delivers excellent protection against fine dust and debris, extending service intervals and improving engine longevity.
The MS 881 can also be fitted to a saw frame, making it suitable for specialist milling and timber processing applications where exceptional power is required.
