STIHL M-Tronic electronic engine management automatically adjusts engine performance to suit changing operating conditions, ensuring dependable starting and optimum power delivery when it matters most.
The chainsaw is supplied with a STIHL Rollomatic ES Rescue guide bar and Rapid Duro Rescue chain featuring carbide-tipped cutters for outstanding durability and cutting performance. This specialist cutting system is designed to handle timber, roofing materials, aluminium cladding, composite panels, glass and other materials frequently encountered during rescue and recovery operations.
A depth limiter supports controlled plunge cutting and helps improve operator control during specialist cutting tasks. Combined with the STIHL anti-vibration system, ergonomic controls and long-life filtration system, the MS 462 C-M R provides the comfort, reliability and performance required for demanding professional rescue work.
