The STIHL iMOW® RMI 422 Robotic Lawn Mower takes the hard work out of lawn maintenance by automatically mowing your lawn according to a customised mowing schedule. Designed for homeowners who want a consistently tidy lawn without spending hours behind a mower, the RMI 422 combines intelligent technology, efficient battery power and advanced mowing capabilities in one compact machine.
Powered by a high-performance lithium-ion battery, the RMI 422 operates without direct emissions, making it an environmentally conscious alternative to traditional petrol-powered mowing. The mower can also utilise adaptive charging technology, selecting either fast charging when required or a more economical charging mode to help reduce energy consumption and prolong battery life.
The robotic mower is fitted with a durable mulching blade that cuts grass little and often, returning finely shredded clippings back into the lawn as a natural fertiliser. This process helps improve lawn health while eliminating the need to collect and dispose of grass cuttings.
Designed to cope with challenging garden layouts, the RMI 422 can tackle gradients of up to 35% and uses adaptive slope speed technology to automatically adjust its travel speed depending on terrain conditions. Integrated sensors detect obstacles in the mowing area, allowing the mower to alter its direction and continue mowing efficiently.
Programming is simple thanks to the integrated high-contrast LCD display and intuitive control panel. A dynamic mowing plan allows you to set preferred mowing windows for each day, while the mower intelligently determines the best times to work within those periods. If mowing is interrupted due to weather conditions, it can automatically reschedule and complete unfinished work later.
The supplied docking station serves as both the charging point and operational hub for the mower. When mowing is complete or battery power is low, the iMOW® independently returns to the charging station and prepares itself for the next scheduled mowing session.
