The STIHL HTA 50 Cordless Pole Pruner is a lightweight cordless pole pruner designed for tree maintenance in medium to large gardens. Featuring a 25cm guide bar, low-vibration 1/4″ PM3 chain, detachable shaft and ergonomic controls, it provides precise pruning performance with the convenience of quiet AK System battery power.
The STIHL HTA 50 Cordless Pole Pruner is a practical and easy-to-use battery-powered pruning tool, ideal for homeowners maintaining trees, large shrubs and overhanging branches in medium to large gardens.
Part of the STIHL AK System, the HTA 50 combines impressive cutting performance with low-noise operation, making it suitable for use in residential areas and noise-sensitive environments. Its lightweight construction and balanced design allow comfortable overhead pruning whilst reducing operator fatigue.
Fitted with a 25cm (10″) Rollomatic E Mini guide bar and 1/4″ P PM3 saw chain, the HTA 50 delivers clean, precise cuts with reduced vibration, making it suitable for routine tree maintenance and branch removal.
The integrated branch hook helps remove small cut branches that become caught in the canopy, making pruning tasks quicker and more efficient.
A side-mounted chain tensioning system allows simple chain adjustment, while the semi-transparent oil tank enables fast visual checks of chain oil levels during operation.
For improved convenience, the HTA 50 features a detachable shaft, making it easier to transport and store when not in use. The ergonomic control unit provides comfortable handling and intuitive operation throughout the working day.
When paired with the recommended STIHL AK 20 battery, the HTA 50 delivers up to 45 minutes runtime or approximately 170 cuts in 10 x 10 cm timber, making it an ideal solution for regular garden tree maintenance.
The HTA 50 is not compatible with KombiSystem attachments, the HLA 56 hedge cutting attachment, RTS harness or HLA 56 shaft extension.
