The STIHL HTA 160 B Cordless Pole Pruner is a high-performance telescopic professional pruning tool designed for demanding tree maintenance applications. As part of the STIHL ALLPRO/AP System, it delivers powerful cutting performance with low noise levels, making it ideal for use in sensitive environments such as schools, hospitals, residential developments and public spaces.

Built for professional arborists, landscapers, orchard managers and grounds maintenance contractors, the HTA 160 B is perfectly suited to pruning, thinning and maintaining trees from ground level. Its telescopic shaft extends from 285cm to 405cm, providing exceptional reach when working on taller trees while maintaining excellent control and cutting precision.

The pole pruner is fitted as standard with a 30cm (12″) guide bar and 3/8″ P Picco Micro 3 chain, delivering efficient cutting performance on branches up to 20cm in diameter. For specialist fruit tree maintenance, the HTA 160 B can also be fitted with a 1/4″ P Picco Micro 3 chain for enhanced precision.

Designed to maximise operator comfort, the lightweight cutting head and magnesium transmission help reduce fatigue when working overhead for extended periods. The battery is housed directly within the machine, providing excellent balance and manoeuvrability without the need for external battery cables or harness-mounted power sources.

A sturdy integrated branch hook makes it easy to dislodge and remove cut branches from the canopy, while the telescopic square shaft design provides impressive rigidity and precise cutting control even when working at maximum reach.

Engineered for daily professional use, the HTA 160 B features variable power control, side-mounted chain tensioning, a transparent oil tank, metal mesh air filtration and IPX4-rated weather protection. Combined with STIHL Connected compatibility and robust construction throughout, it is built to deliver reliable performance year after year.

Recommended for use with the ALLPRO AP 300 P/PC battery. Working time with the recommended battery is around 83 minutes.

Please note that the HTA 160 B is only available as a tool only, the battery and charger are sold separately.
