The STIHL HLA 66 Cordless Long-Reach Hedge Trimmer is a professional-grade hedge maintenance tool designed for landscapers, gardeners and grounds maintenance teams who require precise cutting performance.
Part of the STIHL ALLPRO/AP System, the HLA 66 combines cordless convenience with professional cutting capability, making it ideal for trimming, shaping and maintaining tall hedges without the noise, emissions and maintenance requirements associated with petrol-powered machines.
Measuring 205cm in length, the HLA 66 provides excellent reach for working on tall and wide hedges while maintaining superb balance and handling. Its lightweight construction reduces fatigue during prolonged working periods, helping users work comfortably throughout the day.
The hedge trimmer is equipped with 50cm (20″) laser-cut, diamond-ground double-sided blades that deliver clean, accurate cuts and excellent hedge shaping performance. The cutter bar can be adjusted through 115° (-45° to +70°), allowing comfortable trimming of hedge tops, sides and difficult angles.
Powered by a highly efficient brushless EC motor, the HLA 66 delivers rapid blade acceleration and consistent cutting performance while maintaining low vibration levels and reduced maintenance requirements.
The ergonomic control handle features a self-resetting Ergo lever, allowing comfortable operation for both left and right-handed users. Its quiet operation makes the HLA 66 especially suitable for use in residential areas, hospitals, schools, care homes and other noise-sensitive environments.
For easier transportation and storage, the cutter head folds flat against the shaft, reducing the transport length to just 132cm. This makes it particularly convenient for landscaping professionals moving regularly between jobs.
The HLA 66 is also IPX4-rated, meaning it can be used in wet conditions and light rain, ensuring reliable performance throughout the working season.
Please note that the HLA 66 is only available as a tool only, the battery and charger are sold separately.
