In addition to reducing tool weight, the strop also acts as an important chainsaw retention system, helping protect the saw from accidental drops when working at height. This added level of security supports safer tree maintenance operations and helps protect valuable equipment.

For enhanced safety, the holster incorporates both an emergency release function and overload protection system. The holster is attached to a suitable belt carabiner on the climbing harness, the ALLPRO/AP adapter is inserted into the chainsaw battery compartment, and the rope attachment eyelet is secured to the chainsaw using the integrated metal carabiner.
