Description
Enter the Sherpa family: Ergonomic workstation meets agile ride-on mower
Take your place in the Sherpa class. Surfing mower deck, cross-blade system, perimeter tubular frame and one-hand lever operation are advantages of our AS 915 Sherpa 2WD. The all-rounder for ambitious private users or professional use.
Robust engine and comfortable traction drive
The AS 915 Sherpa 2WD is powered by a two-cylinder engine from the Briggs & Stratton Professional Series 7220. The engine delivers 656 cm³ displacement and up to 22 hp, and is equipped with an oil and fuel pump. Variable traction drive occurs via hydrostatic transmission. Forward speeds from 0-10.5 km/h and reverse speeds from 0-8.2 km/h can be selected via one-hand operation. Another advantage: a mechanical parking brake is integrated in the drive lever. The limited slip differential can be engaged at any time for additional traction.
Closed, surfing mower deck
Equipped with a cross-blade system and a closed mower deck the AS 915 2WD Sherpa reliably chops growth up to 1.2 m high. Surfing suspension allows the mower deck to adapt to uneven soil and thus protects blades and turf, when driving over a hilltop for example. Cutting height is adjusted centrally in levels ranging from 50-105 mm.
Sitting “in” the machine
A deep sitting position gives the operator the feeling of sitting in, rather than on, the machine. This position protects the user from undergrowth, for example. The bucket seat is adjustable in length which, combined with plenty of legroom, provides space for operators up to 1.9 m tall. A spring seat package is available for even greater comfort. All operating elements are arranged logically and can be easily reached.
