The adapter features two battery slots and can accommodate any compatible AP battery, providing users with flexibility to tailor runtime and weight to suit the task at hand.

One of the key benefits of the ADA 1000 is its automatic battery switchover system. When one battery is depleted, the adapter automatically switches to the second battery without interrupting operation. This ensures continuous productivity while reducing downtime and the need for manual battery changes.

The ADA 1000 is particularly beneficial when used with the STIHL BGA 300 leaf blower, where reducing overall carrying weight can significantly improve comfort during long working days. When paired with the recommended AR 3000 L backpack battery, the BGA 300 has a total system weight of approximately 16.9kg. By comparison, using the ADA 1000 with two AP 500 S batteries reduces the total weight to approximately 13.3kg, helping reduce fatigue and improve operator comfort during prolonged use.

For users who prioritise weight reduction over runtime, the ADA 1000 can also be operated using a single AP battery. This further reduces the overall carrying weight while still providing the flexibility and performance of the STIHL AP System platform.

Weighing approximately 5.5kg when fitted with two AP 300 S batteries, the ADA 1000 provides an excellent balance between runtime, mobility and comfort.
