Designed for homeowners and garden enthusiasts, the extension shaft makes it easier to prune small branches, shape fruit trees and tackle hard-to-reach growth safely from ground level.

With a fixed length of 1.5 metres, the extension shaft provides additional reach for working in elevated areas throughout the garden, reducing the need for ladders in many pruning applications.

Constructed from lightweight aluminium, the shaft maintains excellent handling characteristics while keeping the combined weight of the shaft and GTA 26 to approximately 2.7kg. This lightweight design helps reduce operator fatigue and improves comfort during prolonged use.

For further user comfort, the extension shaft includes a soft-grip handle that provides a secure and comfortable hold during operation. An integrated branch hook assists with removing cut branches and twigs from tree canopies, improving efficiency and reducing interruptions during work.

The shaft also incorporates a curved design that helps minimise tipping and improves balance when cutting overhead branches, making operation safer and more controlled.

Whether maintaining fruit trees, pruning ornamental shrubs or removing small branches from elevated areas, the STIHL Extension Shaft is an ideal companion for the GTA 26 Garden Pruner.
