The STIHL HSA 150 R Cordless Hedge Trimmer is a powerful professional pruning hedge trimmer designed for cutting back mature hedges and tackling thicker growth. Part of the STIHL ALLPRO/AP System, it combines exceptional cutting force, low noise levels and outstanding comfort, making it ideal for demanding commercial hedge maintenance.

The STIHL HSA 150 R Cordless Hedge Trimmer is a professional-grade battery-powered hedge trimmer engineered for heavy pruning and hedge reduction work. As part of the STIHL ALLPRO/AP System, it delivers performance comparable to the STIHL HS 87 petrol hedge trimmer whilst offering the benefits of lower noise, lower vibration and zero direct emissions.

Designed for professional landscapers, grounds maintenance contractors and estate management teams, the HSA 150 R excels when tackling larger hedges, overgrown shrubs and annual hedge renovation work. Unlike trimming hedge trimmers, the HSA 150 R is specifically designed for cutting through thicker stems and woody growth where maximum cutting force is required.

Its single-sided blade features wide 38mm tooth spacing and a lower stroke rate, providing excellent cutting power for reduction work and pruning applications. Three speed settings 2,800, 3,000 or 3,200 rpm, allow operators to adjust blade speed to suit the task, ensuring efficient performance across a range of hedge types and cutting conditions.

Powered by a high-efficiency EC motor and advanced gearbox system, the HSA 150 R delivers strong cutting force and rapid response whilst maintaining excellent energy efficiency. The anti-jamming function helps minimise interruptions when cutting thicker material, automatically reversing blade direction if the cutter becomes trapped.

A rotating rear handle improves comfort when trimming hedge tops and sides from different angles, while excellent machine balance and low vibration levels help reduce fatigue during extended periods of use. Combined with IPX4-rated weather protection and STIHL Connected compatibility, the HSA 150 R is built to perform reliably in demanding professional environments throughout the year.

Recommended for use with the ALLPRO AP 100 P battery. Working time with the recommended battery is around 97 – 69 minutes.

Please note that the HSA 150 R is only available as a tool only, the battery and charger are sold separately.
