The STIHL RGA 140 Cordless Brushcutter is a professional cordless brushcutter designed for low-spin weed and grass removal on hard surfaces, gravel and paved areas. Featuring an innovative reciprocating blade system, powerful EC motor and low-noise battery operation, it delivers precise vegetation control while significantly reducing the risk of debris being thrown towards windows, vehicles and surrounding obstacles.

The STIHL RGA 140 Cordless Brushcutter is a specialist professional battery-powered weed removal tool developed for landscapers, grounds maintenance contractors and local authorities who need a safer and more controlled alternative to conventional brushcutters.

Unlike traditional grass trimmers that use rotating line or metal blades, the RGA 140 uses a reciprocating blade system that operates with minimal spinning motion. This significantly reduces the risk of stones, gravel and other debris being thrown during operation, making it ideal for use around windows, parked vehicles, public spaces and sensitive infrastructure.

Part of the STIHL ALLPRO/AP System, the RGA 140 combines powerful cordless performance with low operating noise, making it particularly suitable for work in schools, hospitals, residential developments and other noise-sensitive environments.

The brushcutter is equipped with a high-performance brushless EC motor and electronic speed control, allowing the user to choose from three power levels depending on the application. This enables operators to balance performance and battery runtime for maximum efficiency.

An ergonomic bike handle supports a natural sweeping working motion, helping reduce fatigue during prolonged use. The folding clamp system allows the handle position to be adjusted quickly for optimum comfort and control.

The reciprocating cutting blades are engineered for durability and can be sharpened and rotated periodically to ensure even wear and maximise service life. When replacement becomes necessary, replacement blade kits are available separately.

A removable air filter helps maintain efficient motor cooling and extends the service life of the machine while remaining quick and easy to clean.

The RGA 140 is also IPX4 certified, providing protection against splash water and enabling reliable operation in challenging weather conditions. In addition, the machine is prepared for the optional STIHL Smart Connector 2 A, allowing integration into the STIHL Connected fleet management system.

When used with the recommended STIHL ALLPRO AP 300.0 P battery, the RGA 140 offers operating times of approximately 119 – 59 minutes, depending on the selected power setting.

Please note that RGA 140 is only available as a tool only, the battery and charger are sold separately.
