The STIHL MSA 300 Cordless Chainsaw is the most powerful battery-powered chainsaw in the STIHL range, engineered for professional users who demand maximum performance without the emissions, maintenance and noise associated with petrol-powered equipment.
Part of the STIHL ALLPRO/AP System, the MSA 300 delivers power comparable to the renowned STIHL MS 261 C-M petrol chainsaw, making it ideal for professional forestry work, arboriculture, estate management, grounds maintenance and commercial tree care.
Powered by either the STIHL AP 500 S or ALLPRO AP 300 P/PCÂ battery, the MSA 300 produces an impressive 3.0 kW output, delivering outstanding cutting performance across a wide range of tasks. Three selectable operating modes allow users to optimise power and battery efficiency depending on the application:
- 20 m/s for efficient battery management
- 24 m/s for balanced performance
- 30 m/s for maximum cutting speed and productivity
Combined with the lightweight Light 04 guide bar and .325″ RS Pro saw chain, the MSA 300 offers exceptional cutting speed whilst minimising overall machine weight for improved handling.
Designed with professional comfort in mind, the MSA 300 features a compact, balanced construction and STIHL’s advanced anti-vibration system, reducing fatigue during prolonged periods of operation. The high levels of ergonomics make it suitable for demanding daily use across a variety of forestry and maintenance applications.
An integrated LED display provides important operating information at a glance, including chain brake status and selected performance mode. Additional professional features include an adjustable oil pump, integrated cooling air filtration system, captive sprocket cover nuts and compatibility with the STIHL Smart Connector 2 A for fleet management and equipment monitoring.
Built for professional outdoor use, the MSA 300 is IPX4 certified, allowing reliable operation in wet conditions and challenging work environments.
When paired with the recommended AP 500 S or ALLPRO AP 300 P/PCÂ battery, the MSA 300 provides operating times of approximately 20 to 44 minutes, depending on the selected chain speed setting and workload.
Please note that the MSA 300 is only available as a tool only, the battery and charger are sold separately. The MSA 300 is available with either a 14″ (35cm), 16″ (40cm) or 18″ (45cm) Guide Bar & Chain. Please select your preferred blade length from the dropdown menu.
