The BCS Laser® Scythe Cutter Bar is a versatile tool designed to efficiently cut vegetation of varying heights and densities, up to 1 inch thick. It features anti-clog serrated blades that effortlessly cut through woody materials such as brambles and saplings, as well as tall grasses, wildflowers, and other vegetation.

The cutter bar consists of two blades; the top blade moves side to side with serrated triangular teeth, making a precise scissor-like cut at the base of the plants, which preserves the integrity of the material—ideal for haymaking and wildflower harvesting. Its front-mounted position allows access to hard-to-reach areas like under fences, around trees, and near water, while the cutting height can be easily adjusted between ¾ inch and 3¼ inches by modifying the skids.

Additionally, it is economical to operate, as the power unit typically requires no more than a quarter throttle, ensuring low fuel consumption.
